The Cafeteria Experience Was Absolutely Ridiculous The cafeteria experience was so far beyond ridiculous that it actually put a damper on my entire hospital stay. The first night went reasonably well, especially considering I had just come out of surgery. But the next morning, breakfast was served, and what they brought me looked like something that belonged in a dog’s bowl. Lunch wasn’t much better—I honestly couldn’t even tell you what I was served. Then came dinner, and this was the real kicker. I specifically ordered turkey, stuffing, a vegetable, and soup. What I received was some kind of seafood. I frigging hate seafood. I complained and was told that the cafeteria was already closed, leaving me with no alternative. So I went to bed hungry. The next morning wasn’t any better. At that point, I was just glad I was being discharged and could finally leave. I have to say, this was the worst hospital food service experience I have ever had. Mistakes happen, but serving a patient something completely different from what they ordered—and then essentially telling them there is nothing that can be done because the cafeteria is closed—is simply unacceptable. After everything a patient goes through during a hospital stay, the least you should be able to expect is to receive the meal you ordered and have someone take your complaint seriously.

Delicious lunch served salmon honey carrots rice that was made by staff milk dessert was lava chocolate cake breakfast was scrambled eggs orange juice milk sausage coffee was delightful

Tried their alfredo pasta and it was mushy and so bland :((( I had to throw it away which it VERY rare for me to throw away food I didnt like. Way better option to eat at the outside local food spots.

I eat late nights, and they are pretty okay

The Huntington Hospital cafeteria was quite pleasant. It had a mix of Mexican food and American cuisine.

They had a dimsum stand one day!

The food selection is very good. They offer sandwiches, poke, sushi, and other American cuisine

wow, sushi. pizza. mexican. everything a socal girl can dream. and it was yum

Solid meals. Portions could be bigger but is good when you haven't eaten breakfast.
